GoGos -- for creative play

The first few times my grandson asked me for GoGos, I have to admit it seemed like an odd present.

"GoGo's like boots?" I asked, thinking that this was an odd idea for a five year old boy.

"No," he said, "They're these little toys, they're GoGos."

So I googled them. When you type in Go Go, you get many things that are no where related to a little toy for small children. I hoped he'd forget all about them.

But he didn't. He looked over my shoulder while we did all kind of searches (NOT google), including searches on Amazon. Go Gos. Go Goes. Oh, okay, GOGOs. Hmm.

Anyway, these are funny little toys. At first they look pretty silly. No deck of cards, no shooting pieces, no super tricks...they don't fly or light up. You can't plug them in. They don't glow in the dark

What I failed to realize was that left a huge area open for creative play. The children make teams, they carry out missions, they make up different rules, and change them all the time. They laugh, they shout, and occasionally, someone cries. Somehow the oldest ends up with ownership of all of them. "I won them, grandma!" he always says, "I promise."

Okay, so now the littles (2 & 3 year olds) need more of them because they keep 'losing' theirs. This is a well used page of toys. This set is the best price I've found for the toys, at less than $1 each. And the prepackaged groupings are a good idea in order to create a randomness to distribution.

UPDATE: I found a better price: Crazy Bones Gogos Series 1 30 Random Gogos + 30 Random Stickers (no doubles). $16.99.

GoGo's are Great -- Good value pack

(PLEASE SEE UDATED REVIEW IN NEXT PARAGRAPH) (OLD REVIEW- Please note that the 2 star review pertains to this particular seller/grouping of the product, not to GoGo's in general. I expected to receive 4 different packs of GoGo's, albeit a random assortment of any type/series. I received THREE IDENTICAL PACKS and one pack that was different from the rest. I thought I was getting a good per piece price but I ended up paying for 2 packs that are useless for us. Kids don't want duplicates. Purchase a different GoGo's item if you want a true assortment.

NEW UPDATED REVIEW- This is a great value pack. I originally thought I had received 3 identical packs and only 1 unique one since 3 of the packages were the same. However, upon opening the bags, my son did receive all unique GoGo's. So I've updated my review to reflect our good experience. It is a little odd that the packaging does not show what is actually inside. But in the end, I received what I expected.

Misrepresented

I agree with the other customer review that this product is misrepresented here. I also received 3 identical packs and 1 different pack in my order. I contacted Amazon Customer Service and was assured that this was a mistake and that returning my order and re-ordering was the best way to get what I needed. Wrong, my re-order was exactly the same with 3 identical packs and 1 different. I contacted Customer Service again and they basically told me to order from another vendor. Lame.
